TRAIN-THE-TRAINER WORKSHOP

INTRODUCTION :

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”
- Proverbs

Employees who have acquired the Train-The-Trainer skills can be valuable assets to the organization.  They can effectively transfer their expert knowledge and skills to anyone in the organization to produce higher competent workers, improves higher productivity for the organization and contributes to the success of the organization's overall employees succession plan.  This is true especially for Technical Key Experts, who are highly trained in math and sciences (especially hi-tech mechanical, electrical, electronics and computer technology) and therefore tend to apply an overly complex information dissemination approach in their training delivery.  The depth and volume of information Technical trainers often communicates can be over-whelming; training delivery is often boring and directly delivered in the most 'efficient' manner without considering the impact on the recipient.  Focusing heavily on contents and not considering the recipient's learning psychology pose great challenge for Technical Trainers to deliver an effective training program.

Whether you are a Technical Key Experts trainer or not, this course provides the foundation principles, techniques and Best-Known-Methods (BKM) for trainers to analyze training needs, design an appropriate & interesting training program, develop the training materials, deliver the trainings, and evaluate the training effectiveness.  It also explores the skills sets of human interactions that make transfer of skills more effective.  This 3-days training program, conducted in a workshop style, is suitable for those operations trainers who are already performing the basic training tasks but need improvements to gain the full spectrum of an effective trainer’s facilitation skills to better impart their rich operation knowledge and skills to a large group in a more interesting and effective way. This course is also a foundational and ‘a must’ program for all potential trainers.
